                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TEMPORARY
                   CLOSURE OF A PORTION OF BROAD STREET MORE
                   PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN ON SATURDAY,
                   APRIL 25, 1992 FROM 9:00 A.M. TO 1:30 P.M.
                   FOR THE "BEST IN BED RACE III" SPONSORED BY
                   FOX 102 FM UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS.
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       temporary closing of the southbound lanes of Broad Street between 

       6th Street and M.L. King Boulevard on Saturday, April 25, 1992
       from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for the presentation of the "Best in
       Bed Race III" under the sponsorship of FOX 102 FM provided that
       the sponsor shall set out traffic cones, flasher barricades and
       warning signs in accordance with the traffic control plan 
attached
       hereto and shall provide, at all times, an access lane for
       emergency vehicles.
